Guys,

I am not a gunsmith, so I need some advice. I had the somewhat common malfunction characterized by pulling the trigger back but the hammer would not fall. Upon reading some of the same problems from old posts, I looked at the trigger pin, and it had almost fallen out. I pushed it in, and the trigger is now working. I now realize I should've put Locktite on the little bugger. What should I do now? I am thinking about putting a drop of locktite on the back of the trigger where the trigger pin is. Is this a good fix? Thanks.

Assuming the design of the P32 is the same as the P11, the trigger pin should be tight enough to hold itself in the rubber trigger. If not, the trigger pin is not too difficult to remove and then add some locktite as long as it is safe for rubber.

When re-inserting the pin, make sure that the transfer pin and trigger are aligned correctly. I needed to squeeze my pin in with pliers rather than tap it back in.

Thanks for the reply. I think it is "normal" right now, but I'm going to be watching it the next few trips to the range. I think I'll change to my P11 for carry meanwhile.

Cuervo,

The P11 pin and the p32 pin are different. The P11 pin is flush with the trigger and has a flat head, the P32 pin doesn't have a head, and extends 1/16th of an inch on some P32's and is flush on others. I think this varies with serial number. Mine sticks out 1/16th of an inch, and has serial number 31xxx. Any others care to volunteer info about their trigger pin and serial #? Thanks.

Mine is also a little short of flush, but mine was sent back to KT for work and I think they replaced the pin.

I have two Keltec P32's here, S# 7xxx and 18xxx, both have flush trigger pins.

Fellows,
My pistol is in the 40XXX SN range. Do I have to worry about the trigger pin problem?
