I recently purchased a P-32. I have fired about 100 rounds through it with no problems until now.

Last night with the P-32 in my back pocket I felt a strange click. Turns out that the end of the hammer spring at the bottom of the handle just snapped off while I was sitting there.

Has anybody had problems with the hammer spring?

Is there a different manufacturer of springs that I could use?

Other than this problem I love the thing and it goes with me everywhere. :)

Thanks in advance for your help.

That's a wierd problem I haven't heard before. KT will send you a new one free for asking; you might also have them send you the pin that the spring rides on. Maybe it had a bad burr in it, and cut through the spring. Since it's not a common problem, I'd have confidence that they'll send you good replacement parts.

I plan on calling them Monday AM. It is wierd. The spring broke about 1/4 inch from the end at the bottom. Didn't seem to have anything to do with the pin. Must just be a bad spring.

So far I love the P-32. Has been with me all the time since I bought it. I have felt a little naked this weekend and have been forced to carry my P-111. :)
