Usually I shoot the cheapest ammo I can find at the range. Remington & Winchester ammo seems to work well n my P-32. Does anyone out there know which ammo is +P and should only be used occasionally in the gun? What happens if +P is overused? Has anyone experienced a blown up P-32?

Since nobody else has responded, I'll throw in my two cents worth.
There is no such thing as a Plus P round for the .32 ACP. Reputable manufacturers - including CorBon and Glasser-keep the chamber pressures well within the specifications set by the trade organization of ammo manufacturers - SAAMI. And since the majority of .32's are blow back operated, SAAMI set the chamber pressure limits based on what blow back operated guns can take. The locked breech of the P-32 is much stronger than such unlocked blow back guns, making the P-32 way over engineered for whatever you will run into- as long as it is made by a reputable manufacturer. Just stay away from those " super velocity, Grizzly bear killing special .32 " rounds some handloader is selling at your local gun show.

Rregards- conwic

Thanks, conwic. I will stick to Winchester fmj & silvertips. They seem to work flawlessly in my P-32.

Does anyone have any experience with Geco 73gr. ball ammo? I see it on GL's gelatin test report and it's impressive. I say "ball" meaning "FMC". Anyway, the round was chronoed (is that a word) at velocities close to Cor-Bon which gets the ft/lbs. of energy up there for 32acp. Need feedback. Thanks in advance, Mike
