Works fine, as do carburetor cleaner and brake cleaner.

In other boards, I have heard cautions about using Carb cleaner. Apparently, Brake cleaner is a pretty set formula (made by one company, sold by many?) but Carb cleaners have many recipes. Some have been accused of harming plastics and finishes. Could just be a nasty rumor...

You should be safe with brake cleaner, though.

I used it and it worked fine, but stunk so bad I would have to take it out side to do it. Now I use tetra and it doesn't smell near as bad. sj
