I shipped my P32 last Thursday for the hard chrome upgrade. It arrived at Kel Tec on Friday and was worked on, test fired and shipped out the SAME DAY!! It looks great. Well worth the effort. My thanks to Carolyn at Kel Tec for the great service and to Kentucky Rifle for suggesting the gray grip hard chrome slide combination. Very nice. I will try it out later today. Hopefully it will still work like it did before. Best. Watch-Six

Sadly I have had to relearn one of life's simple truths: "If you have a small pistol that actually works, don't change a thing!" The reliability of my P32 has gone to total crap since I got my hard chrome upgrade done. I will be returning it to Kel-Tec today. I hope that they can get it to run just like it did with the old blue slide. I'm bummed out. It looks great, but sure doesn't work great.

Ouch! Sorry to hear that. Care to elaborate? My P32 chromed slide fit great and has been 100% reliable. Just got my P11 today, hope it's as good as my p32 was out of the box.

Since you asked, here goes. First the trigger disconnect bar was disengaging frequently giving a free moving trigger with no transfer of movement to the hammer. In other words a free moving, do nothing trigger. I polished off a tiny burr on the slide and polished the trigger draw bar to fix that problem. Then I had light strikes on FN ammo, which worked fine before the change. Follow up with failures to extract and a few failures to feed and you get the picture. Summary: poor reliability. On top of that the old blue slide shot to point of aim with uncanny accuracy for such simple sights. Now it hits about 4" left at 7 yards. Forget it at 15-20 yards. I really hope they can fix it.

Update on my P32. It came back a few days ago with a new frame with the same serial # and pretty much everything replaced. It worked 100% with FN FMJ ammo, but I had two failures to extract with Silvertips and Federal FMJ. I polished the chamber myself and all seems to be well. Shot Silvertips, Federal FMJ and FN FMJ with no further problems. The turn around was one week this time and they did refund $20 of my shipping charges. What a relief. My P32 is working like it did at first and looks great to boot. Worth the wait.
