I just came home with my new pet. It's replacing my SAO AMT back up (too heavy).

CCW permit is in the mail so I’ll be good to go soon.

I handled the P-11 for a while but I am still trying to decide on it or the pocket 9.

I just wanted to say hi and will prolly be posting here often.

Don't make the same mistake I did! I bought a P32 that worked great out of the box. Then I got tempted by a different 9mm Kel-Tec clone and bought it instead of the P11. It was a supreme POS...I sent it back and I'm waiting for the P11. The P11 is the best, smallest, lightest 9mm out there...don't be tempted by the Dark Side.

The Colt Pocket 9 is not a very good gun in my opinion. It is relatively heavy, has a very heavy & gritty trigger, doesn't hold much ammo, & magazines & parts are not that easy to get because it is discontinued. I think the P-11 is excellent. I carry it daily. What other 9MM is as light & small & holds 11 rounds. Answer: NONE
When I can't carry my P-11, I carry my P-32, which is also in a class by itself.

The "pocket nine" was also made during the time frame that QC wasn't so good from Colt. I have a P11 and it has digested everything flawlessly. Soon after my upcoming crosscountry move is completed I plan on purchasing a .357 Sig Conversion kit from Kel-Tec (basically just the .40 kit with the .357 barrel instead, not a standard item, but Cliff said it wouldn't be a problem). Don't get me wrong, I love good Colt's....the pocket nine just wasn't a good one (although it was better than the "All American 2000" POS).
