Has anyone tried CAVIM .32 auto ammo? I bought some at a gun show for just over $5 a box and am wondering if its good plinker ammo.

I haven't tried the CAVIM yet, but just FYI I ordered some .32 ACP manufactured by FN at $90 per 1,000 rounds (plus $18 S&H) from http://www.ammunitionstore.com/

They also sell CAVIM, but I haven't tried it. You be our Guniea pig and let us know. I don't trust anything labeled in a language I can't read :-)

The FN is FMJ but flat-nose unfortunately, so it doesn't always feed very well in the P32. As a result, I'd consider it unreliable and would only use it for target shooting - But the price is right. Even though it was manufactured in 1982, I haven't gotten any hang fires in the 500+ rounds I've shot so far.

Plus the FN comes in a cool little plastic box - I hate to throw them away.

I've also used the FN surplus. It has been 100% reliable in my P32. I think you will find many favorable comments in the P32 community on the FN ammo.
