Wouldn't it be nice to have a 22 caliber conversion kit for the p32? We could practice with cheap ammo and reserve the more expensive 32 for carry and occassional practice.

Okay, I like your idea better... mine was just to make a P22 on the same frame as a P32... Alright, so who's buddies with Kel-Tec?

Why bother with 22 ammo, when you have very inexpensive ammo like FN surplus available for only aout $2.25 for 25 rounds?

Well,I really wouldn't want to convert mine,I like the .32 for it's better ballistics in this size pistol. But,as small and light as the p-32 is. It doe's make me wonder where the bright mind's that conceived of the p-11 and p-32 could go with a .22? a 4 oz or 5 oz 11 round pistol? the thought boggle's the mind.{hope they are listening :) } I GUARANTEE I WOULD BUY ONE!! But,even if they build an identical model in a.22 I WOULD BUY ONE!! cheap .22 are $.02 ea.

Mike - Because I can get 500 rounds of .22 for $9.99 at WallyWorld! That's $.99 per box of 50, and I don't have to order it, wait for it, pay for hazzard fees and shipping charges... I just swing by Wally's and grab a box on the way to the range for a grand total of $10.69, including tax.

Plinker - I'm with you...I would never carry it as a defensive weapon, because certainly the ballistics of .32 are better than any rimfire, but for me, .22 is the ultimate fun-gun to shoot.

that's also why I would buy ANOTHER one in .22, instead of just a conversion.

Well, actually, the 22 magnum in it's hottest loadings may beat the p-32 buy a tad.but the shells are so long I doubt a really compact pistol could be developed.and a.32 hole is a .32 hole even if the hollowpoint does'nt expand.I SURE WISH THEY WOULD REPEAL THAT STUPID A** over 10 round magazine ban.as all it has done is deprive poor people, sure hasn't STOPPED THE VIOLENCE!! now has it.

Before you count on .22Mag outperforming .32ACP, check the length of the test barrel. Most .22Mag is designed for longer barrels, and sucks out of a 2" tube.

Aaaaaghhh!! you got me!! You are absolutely correct. I stand corrected. The .22 mag needs that longer barrel.out of a two inch barrel it is no match for a .32 acp.please accept my humblest appology.
