Just bought a new one. Have to wait untill next week cant wait. I have a Guardian and keep hearing good things about these so I figured I would give it a try hope it doesnt fail me. Then maybe I might send it back to get hard chromed if it proves itself. :D Just wanted everyone to know I joined the keltec club :)

hey shooter .45-

i've seen you on the firing line forum.
here's a better idea than chrome plating. send it to jack fuselier, a ktog website founder and gunsmith in livingston, tx to have it nickel plated. many ktogers have done it and none have regretted it.
i just sent one today, a p-32 i bought for a friend out-of-state.
jack fuselier knows kel-tec products inside and out.
he will fluff & buff your slide and nickel plate it for $25.
the big difference is that kel-tec will REPLACE your slide with chrome whereas jack will f&b and nickel plate the slide you send him.
i own 2 p-32s and i sent one to jack and one to KT to replace with chrome. i wish i had sent both to jack. KT's chrome is great, no complaints, but i had f&bed that slide and it was reliable. now i have to re-test this new slide. if i have to f&b, it may take some chrome off (although the slide rails and hammer/slide interface are normally lightly greased - probably no rust concerns).
jack is active on the ktog "mailing list" on the eGroups forum. that is where the real experts hang out, not on this bulletin board. you need to sign up on that forum but don't get the option where you get all the e-mail. go to: http://www.egroups.com/community/ktog
sign up there.

jack fuselier's website is http://www.gunsmith.fuselier.com
go to the link: "ktogers click here for slide plating"

you may want to get some red or orange paint after nickel plating to put on the sites. i got a tip from WLM (Will) on the firing line forum under the recent posting about p-32 or guardian. he referred me to http://www.brightsights.com
i ordered some red to put on my jack fuselier nickel plated p-11 and p-32.
the KT chrome slide comes with red sights.

good luck.

Congratulations. I'm extremely pleased with mine. Just got the hard chromed slide assembly sent to me last week. I strongly recommend the exchange...a bargain at $20. Based on postings here, quality control can be a little bit iffy with the P32. The vast majority are ok, but some have a problem or two. The good new is, everyone raves about the outstanding customer service KelTec provides. If you do have a problem and send the gun to KelTec everyone says it comes back fixed and fixed right.

I'm sold on the P32. I carry it regularly, can shoot it accurately, and it is so light and compact I forget its there most of the time.

Good shooting.
