My P32 functioned perfectly until I sent my slide in for a hard chrome job. Evidently you don't get the same slide back ... who knows where it's been. I fired several hundred silver tips without a problem ... before I sent my slide in to Kel-Tec for chrome. Now I have several complete failures to eject for every 50 rounds ... slide forward and still in the chamber. I did clean with Eezox. Perhaps I overdid it. Any thoughts on what to look for would be most appreciated.

It's always best to send the whole gun. You may end up doing that anyway. Mike ------------------ |

your suspicions are correct. they do not chrome the parts you send them - they are replacements. you may need to fluff & buff the chrome slide. i didn't need to on mine. i guess it may remove some of the chrome but the slide rails and hammer/slide interface should be lightly greased (see the "tec werks" lubrication guide) so there shouldn't be a rust concern if you take off some of the chrome doing this. ------------------ |
