I got my p32 back from kel-tec yesterday afternoon. They replaced the whole top end and hard chromed it. It sure looks nice, now going to the range today to see how it shoots.I will post later about how it does. Here's hoping it works. sj ------------------ |

Well,I took it to the range today and it shoots great, just like it should,no problems at all, except that it is still shooting to the left. That could be my problem though. I was thinking about it on the way home. I think I had my finger in to the first joint and I was probably pulling it to the left when I squeezed off. I will have to ckeck that out the next time I go to the range, thats a good excuse to go again anyway, whenever I go I always take my springfield compact too for 100 to 200 rounds. I can't leave it at home getting lonely can I ? happy now. sj ------------------ |

Glad to hear things are working well. Just got my slide assembly that I had sent in for hard chroming back today. :) It was accompanied by a new recoil spring and spring guide. The new spring is considerably longer and stronger than the one the gun originally came with. Only potential problem is that the slide catch isn't engaging to hold the slide back on an empty magazine. :( I'm hoping that the problem will be resolved by 50 to 100 rounds for break-in. Sure like the way the hc finish looks and the feed ramp smoothness is 100% better than on the original barrel. :) I'll head for the hills tomorrow for a little informal shooting and give you an update on how it shoots. ------------------ |

Well, back from the range and happy to report a good session. P32 with new hard chrome job proved 100% reliable with five different types of ammo (UMC ball, Magtech ball, Winchester Silver Tips, Federal Hydra Shok, and Speer GoldDots). Shooting a little to the left but well within reason for a pocket gun with fixed sights, if that's what you want to call them. I'm pleased! ------------------ |
