A friend of mine and I both bought brand new P32's 3 weeks ago. At first we were both amazed at the accuracy and reliability. Now it seems we both have the same problem. The cartriges in the magazines are getting stuck on each other and will not come out of the magazine. This happens while actually shooting and just snap cap testing as well. We tried swapping mags but just the same thing was happening. Is there a problem with all P32 mags or what? I love this gun as my backup and carry it every day every where I go. I sure can't afford to have my back up gun fail, please help.

What type ammo are you using, and have you switched ammo? My P-32 loves Winchester Silvertips, and has never had a magazine feed out problem with them. If it continues or you can't figure it out, call Cliff or Marty at Kel-Tec...they're great!

Raywood, I've tried 4 different types of ammo, silvertips, hydroshocks, gold dots and fmj? all problems. The gold dots fed the best but still had a %30 fail rate.

The 32ACP is a "semi" rimmed cartidge unlike the .380, 9mm, 45, etc. That is why the cases get hooked over each other. You need to be careful when you load the magazine that you don't seat the semi-rim of the cartridge you are loading behind the semi-rim of the cartridge you are loading on top of. I've been told that it is a good practice to tap the back of the magazine on a hard flat surface after you have loaded it to ensure that cartridge are properly aligned in the magazine.

Send the gun back to Kel-Tec. My P-32 works 100% and so can yours. Get the Hard Chrome also, it is great!

My friend's P32 had a similar problem. I let him use my magazines and they disappeared.

Or you might want to send the gun back (KT's customer service is probably one of the best in the business, like NAA). Let them fix the problem. Get it hard chromed. Mine has been 100% reliable out of the box (1000 rounds, mostly Gold Dots). As the posts here (and at TFL) show, a few have had problems (which KT was quick to resolve). Hey, the design is not even two years old.

Stay safe.
