I have a recently purchased P-32. I really like the CC with the side clip. I can wear a t-shirt and shorts and its totally concealed clipped in my waistband above my wallet. My question is accuracy. I only have 40 rounds though it, so it may not be broken in. It seems to shoot about 6" low and 6" to the left of point of aim at 7-10 yds. (I'm right handed)Reliability was 100% with Federal UMC FMJ. I'm not a great shot, but I'm better than that. Can anything be done????? ------------------ |

Yeah...aim high and to the right ;-) To be honest, I've put about a hundred and a quarter rounds through mine so far, and find that at 7 yards and less my shots tend to group low and right. Oddly, my best center-of-target groupings occur during rapid-fire. So maybe it has something to do with my grip on the little gun?? Anybody have any ideas for Lee and I? ------------------ |

I found that I had to experiment with placement of my finger on the trigger. I'm contacting the trigger just above the first joint of my trigger finger to give me a straight pull. I've also cut down a Hogue Handall Jr. grip sleeve to give me a little better grip. At 7-10 yards my P32 is dead on as long as I do my part. I'm much better with it than I am with my S&W 442 .38Spl. ------------------ |

Have improved my pointing a great deal by putting the finger rest on the magazine. The article by Darvell Hunt (http://www.geocities.com/pocketguns/) is really great and takes you step by step thru a very simple procedure for installing the NAA Guardian rest on the P-32. ------------------ |

I just got back from my local gun shop...someone I know there polished the ramp for me, and I immediately went and tried another box of hydrashoks. No feeding problems, which was good, but I did get one jam in the extraction. Anyone had this problem or know of any solutions? (the extractor is clean) also, i think webfoot is on to something with regard to trigger finger placement as it relates to control and accuracy. and i think we all know that for what the P-32's sights are worth, it may as well have no sights at all. ------------------ |

A friend of mine just got his NAA Guardian back from being upgraded with all of their bells & whistles, and NO SIGHTS were installed! The idea of sights on a gun this small is kinda funny. If you're using it at more than 7-10 yards [with a natural point] then something is wrong anyway and you're in more trouble than you can probably get out of with a P32. I think the movement of groups is just a natural by-product of the small gun in a large hand. You never really get the same grip twice unless you put a lot of time in at the range. Keep shooting and you will probably fall into a consistent hold and group. ------------------ |

I have been very pleased with the accuracy. Dead-on out to 10 yards. I've never seen an "&" J-frame do any better. ------------------ |

I agree with you RiverRat regarding the comparison with a J-frame. And I shoot this little "mousegun" much better that my S&W. ------------------ |

I've used a bunch of different ammo, and they all shoot someplace different. Experiment and you'll probably find one that shoots where you aim...

On friday, a friend an I both bought p-32s. mine shoots two inches to the left and two inches low at 7 yards (about where I always hit with most any pistol). His shoots 8 inches to the right and two inches low at 7 yards. Of course at 15 yards he is not even on paper. He is calling Kel Tec today. All we can come up with is the "bushing-less" hole in the front of the slide was not propoerlly milled. CNC? Well someone has to set up the machine. Remember GIGO? Rick ------------------ |

lee, my p-32 also shot low and to the left my first few trips to the range. After I got a set of Wolff recoil springs, the gun has shot much better to point of aim. If anything, the gun now shoots a little high, but that is an easy problem to compensate for. I would suggest the most powerful Wolff springs. Also, let the gun break in over a few hundred rounds before you make any judgments about its accuracy. ------------------ |

Mine did the same thing and I sent it back to the factory and had them fix it and hardchrome it and now it shoots a lot better. Also try using just the tip of your finger instead of to the first joint. It worked for me. sj ------------------ |
